NEARBY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

  • Bus: Plebiscito, Piazza Venezia, and Corso/Ss. Apostoli stops are only a few minutes away on foot (100–300 m).
  • Railway: Roma Termini, Rome’s main railway station, is approximately a 30-minute walk (2 km) from the venue.

GETTING TO THE VENUE

The easiest way to reach the conference venue from either of Rome’s airports is to travel first to Roma Termini, Rome’s main railway station and transport hub.

From Fiumicino Airport (FCO) → Roma Termin
i Fiumicino Airport is located approximately 32 km from central Rome. Take the Leonardo Express, a direct train to Roma Termini (approx. 32 min). Direct airport shuttle buses to Termini are also available.

From Ciampino Airport (CIA) → Roma Termini
Ciampino Airport is located approximately 15 km from central Rome. Take a direct airport shuttle bus to Roma Termini. Alternatively, use the Ciampino Airlink (bus + train).

From Roma Termini → Conference venue (Polish Academy of Sciences – Scientific Centre in Rome)

  • By bus: from Termini (MA–MB–FS), take a bus to Plebiscito (e.g. bus lines: 40, 64, 70 or 170). The venue is approximately 100 m (2 min walk) from the bus stop. Total journey: approx. 15 min.
  • On foot: approximately 2 km (30 min).
  • By taxi: approximately 4km (15 min), depending on traffic.
